Clayton Marsh is third year student at Wittenberg University (Springfield, Ohio), majoring in German and Russian-Central Eurasian Studies. Homeschooled from the third grade and having graduated from the Angelicum Academy’s Great Books Program (2015), Clayton received Wittenberg University’s Provost Scholarship, Alumni Music Scholarship, Faculty Recognition Award, and has been named to the Dean’s List for five consecutive semesters. He is a member of the Wittenberg University Honors Program, Phi Eta Sigma Fraternal Honors Society, and the Pick-n’-Pen Junior Honorary for academic achievement and community service. He is currently a Student Justice on the University Hearing Board, and a member of the Matthies Honors Advisory Committee. He is an active member of Greek Life on campus, serving as the Chief Justice of Standards and the Vice-President of Scholarship for the Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC), as well as Standards and Harm Reduction Chairman for his Chapter in Lambda Chi Alpha. He is a Peer Mentor for the Office of First Year Programs, a Language Tutor in the Language Learning Center (LLC), and is involved in Campus Ministries as Treasurer for the Newman Club. As a respected member of the Class of 2019, Clayton’s future plans include the continued study of languages and culture, in the pursuit of graduate study in the fields of international law and diplomacy.
